KIDS WITH BUNS

After years of collecting lyrics from diaries and strumming guitar chords in their bedrooms, Amber and Marie emerged as Kids With Buns. Their gooey bedroom indie pop, a melancholic micro universe that draws from personal experiences and musings, deals with instantly recognizable stories for those young in turbulent times. With their debut single '1712,' Kids With Buns became the face of the helpline against sexual violence in 2020, and in 2021 they won Studio Brussels' “De Nieuwe Lichting” (De Nieuwe Lichting is a music competition where Studio Brussels looks for new musicdal talent) with 'Bad Grades.' 'Bad Grades' subsequently kicked up to number one in the “Afrekening” (a Belgian radio program and record chart of thirty “alternative” top audience-rated tracks) and collected more than one million streams worldwide.

Student Concert Night is a brand-new collaboration between Brugge Studentenstad and Cactus Music Center: together we select a number of concerts from the Cactus program during the academic year for which you, as a student* at a higher education institution in Bruges, can buy a ticket with a 50% discount on the regular vvk price! So this concert costs €9 instead of €18. Be quick, because the number of tickets at preferential rate per concert is limited.
A ticket at this special rate can only be purchased on presentation of a valid student card* at the In&Uit Brugge box office, 't Zand 34 (ground floor Concertgebouw). In&Uit is open Monday to Saturday from 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm and on Sunday from 10am - 2pm.
