In this series of six workshops, you will learn how to make a web application. A web application is a software programme in the form of an interactive website. There are countless possible applications, your brain is the limit! Is there no online calendar that meets your needs and do you want to create one yourself? Are you a student-entrepreneur and do you want to create your own webshop? This and much more is possible during these workshops, because you will learn how to create and maintain such a web application yourself.
To illustrate, we will create an online music store, including a payment system. We work with Django, a Python web framework. Programming experience is not required but can help you to get further after these six lessons. Xander Warszawski, student at KU Leuven campus Bruges developed this workshop series especially for Brugge Studentenstad.
