Elmer, the alter-ego of rapper, producer, actress and theatre-maker Merel Pauw, combines a love of hip-hop with provocative rawness, disarming honesty and the colourful world of comic books. The result is a shameless act that brings a long-awaited breath of fresh air to the Dutch hip-hop scene. Taking inspiration from Peaches, Mr Oizo and de Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, she (or he, whatever you like) builds technical rap lyrics on a highly danceable foundation of electro-funk and italo disco.

Student Concert Night is a collaboration between Brugge Studentenstad and Cactus Music Center: together we select a number of concerts from the Cactus program during the academic year for which you, as a student* at a higher education institution in Bruges, can buy a ticket with a 50% discount on the regular presale rate!
