Synopsis:
In 'Babylon', we follow the rise and inevitable fall of several colourful characters from one of the most decadent and depraved periods of cinema history. In the 1920s of early Hollywood, the film industry slowly transitioned from silent movies to those with sound. Back then, Los Angeles was the place for anyone with gargantuan ambition in search of eternal fame. What follows is a roaring three mad hours bouncing between cocaine-laden orgies and chaotic film sets to the rhythm of composer Justin Hurwitz's rousing jazz. A fantastic ensemble cast including Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie swing through this epic venture by Damien 'La La Land' Chazelle.
