Every last Tuesday of the month at 8 pm you can enjoy Student Tuesday! A film for only € 4,50 for all students in Bruges*. In February, we present you the film “Winter Break”. Winter Break is Alexander Payne's (Sideways, Nebraska) first film set in the past. Not only is the recreation of the 1970s sets formidable, Winter Break also technically looks like a film of that era, including signature zooms and image filters.

The film is in English with Dutch & French Subtitles.

Synopsis:
Paul is screwed. As a history teacher, he acts as a holdover during the Christmas holidays, which is the teacher who has to stay at school during the holidays to look after students who cannot go home. Paul has his hands full with Angus, a rebellious adolescent who has been told last-minute by his mother and her new beau that they will not spend Christmas together. Paul and Angus move in with Mary, the school's cook, for whom it is the first Christmas without - this is 1970 - her son killed in Vietnam.
